Choosing Portable Site Cabins and Toilet Facilities

A portable facility should be selected around what people need to do inside it and how the site will support it. Dimensions are important, but access, utilities, servicing and internal use often decide whether a configuration is practical.

1. Define the use before choosing dimensions

  • Separate offices, meeting rooms, bedrooms, security rooms, storage and sanitation functions.
  • Record the expected users, furniture, storage, privacy and internal-circulation needs.
  • Use verified ETR configuration data for dimensions and included features; do not infer capacity from an image.

2. Plan the site layout

  • Check delivery route, lifting or placement access, clearances, ground condition and the final orientation.
  • Place offices and rooms around safe access, work fronts, security and noise considerations.
  • Plan sanitation access, privacy and servicing routes without crossing incompatible work areas.

3. Confirm utilities and interfaces

  • Identify the electrical supply and distribution required for lighting, air conditioning and internal equipment.
  • For toilet units, confirm fresh-water and waste arrangements, servicing access and the responsible site interfaces.
  • Record any external lighting, steps, ramps, barriers, drainage or supporting temporary-power requirement.

4. Match configuration to duration and change

  • A short event, a changing construction phase and a longer remote-site requirement can need different internal arrangements and service plans.
  • Allow for expected workforce or layout changes without publishing an arbitrary occupancy rule.
  • Confirm what furniture, fittings, tanks, air conditioning and accessories are included for the selected unit.

5. Prepare a useful quote request

  • Project location, dates, rental duration and required delivery sequence.
  • Facility use, quantity, expected users and preferred verified configuration.
  • Access, ground, utility, water, waste and servicing information.
  • Required accessories, installation and technical-support scope.
